We took ownership of our Diesel Deluxe in May 2017. Since then we have completed a bush and sand 4WD course which was excellent and I am happy to recommend. We have so far spent about 10 days camping locally on the Sunshine Coast.
We have a 2013 Ford Ranger (3.2l V6 manual) that the Trayon sits on. The chassis has been strengthened and the GVM increased and re-certified to carry 3.5 tons. With all water tanks fully loaded plus long range fuel tanks full, my weight comes in at 3.38 tons.
Our big trip starts in late August 2017 when we shall travel around the continent for a period up to one year.
We have been extremely happy with the advice, service and support we have received from the Trayon team in Maroochydore and they are always welcoming and encouraging. We have no doubt our trip will be fantastic.
