Episode 1 - We left our Sydney base in early July and headed to the south coast of NSW and the Snowy Mountains to avoid the school holidays. We travelled to Oura Beach on the Murrumbidgee to the west of Wagga Wagga, then to Yarrawonga (very windy and some rain), Echuca, Swan Hill (great Pioneer Settlement) and Mildura where we had 1 really wet day (no leaks in the TrayOn). On to Mungo National park (a fantastic experience), Kinchega National Park (there was no water in the Darling River, only a few waterholes - very sad). We visited Broken Hill and Silverton before going onto Hawker and Wilpena Pound. Onward through Maree to William Creek (great flight over Lake Eyre) before going to Coober Pedy (horrible dust storm dirtied our Trayon!). Uluru and Kata Tjuta was next and then on to Kings Canyon. We went onto Alice Springs.
